Our traditional latkes (potato pancakes) packaged in convenient shallow foil pans for chanukah, ready to go into the oven.
Potato latkes fully, but lightly, baked and ready to be heated to desired darkness before serving. We recommend heating in the oven.
Oven Method From Frozen: Can be heated in oven directly from freezer. Preheat oven to 450°F (or 425 convection). Line baking sheet with foil or parchment (unless you receive them in a foil pain directly from us). Lay latkes in a single layer or slightly overlapping. Bake 10-15 minutes to desired crispness. They can be flipped after 10 minutes for more even browning.
Oven Method From Refrigerator: Follow the oven instructions from frozen but check on them after 8 minutes, and flip them if desired. When they are not frozen they heat about 3-5 minutes faster.
Skillet Method: To heat in a skillet they should be defrosted first, otherwise they'll stick to the skillet. Once they are thawed, heat them with a little oil over medium-high heat. You're essentially frying them for a couple minutes on each side.
The pack of 18 is in a half size pan (13in x 10.5in). The packs of 24 or 36 are in a full size pan (20.5in x 12.75in).
Latke size: Each latke weights approximately 1.5oz and measures 3.5in diameter and 3/8in thick.
Ingredients: Potato, onion, egg, organic potato starch, Zero Acre oil, salt & pepper.
